The Hi Fives is a family of FIRST robotics teams based in Grand Junction, Colorado, welcoming students from across the Grand Valley to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, mentor-based programs. With participants ranging from elementary to high school, our teams span all levels of the FIRST program—FLL, FTC, and FRC—offering a fun and challenging environment that promotes innovation, teamwork, and personal growth. In addition to building robots, The Hi Fives are deeply committed to our community, hosting outreach events like our annual golf tournament, volunteering at local competitions, and providing STEM demonstrations. By fostering life skills such as leadership, confidence, and communication, we aim to empower the next generation of problem-solvers and creators. Our mission is to make STEM accessible and engaging for all youth in our region.
Registration is now open for the 6th annual Hi Fives Golf Tournament! It will be held at Adobe Creek National Golf Course on Sunday June 1st, 2025.
Your local robotics teams rely on volunteers and donations from the community to be successful. Make a real difference for local Grand Valley youth!
